Sustainable microbiome-targeted solutions for agriculture

Leading Innovation

FLOURISH uses patented Guided Biotics® technology to control the crop microbiome by selectively removing the pathogens that cause disease, protecting farm yields without chemicals.

Protecting

Protecting and supporting the microbiome using biology.

Increasing Yield

The plant's microbiome is central to productivity and yield.

Improve Performance

Guided Biotics® improve crop health by selectively removing unwanted bacteria and fungi.

CRISPR

Guided Biotics® harness the natural bacterial immune system (CRISPR) to remove bad microbes and promote optimal microbiome function.

Guided Biotics® present a new and unique crop protection tool with a precise mode of action. Guided Biotics® selectively harness the microbial immue system to remove unwanted microbes such as disease-causing bacteria. In combination, Guided Biotics® can guide the microbiome and regulate metabolic pathways, generating space for the “good” bacteria to flourish and strengthen their colonisation of the plant, promoting crop yield.

Direct-by-design

The ability to direct-by-design the innate bacterial immune system (CRISPR) to specifically control disease-causing pathogens via foliar or soil application, or via seed treatment, is unique in the industry and will enable crop yield and quality to be protected and increased.

The Microbiome

The plant’s microbiome is central to productivity and yield. Guided Biotics® selectively improve crop health by removing bad bacteria and fungi. This is particularly important in young plants as they develop.

Fungal and bacterial diseases caused by Pseudomonas syringae, Xanthomonas, Xylella and Botrytis are having a devastating commercial impact on crops with a high global value such as tomatoes, olives, vines, citrus fruits and stoned fruit.

A Guided Biome is a healthy microbiome that will result in increased yield and improved crop performance.

Targeting Disease, Supporting Crop Health

Flourish uses naturally occurring good bacteria which have natural disease control properties which are complemented and enhanced by the addition of Guided Biotics® technology. Plant growth is promoted by allowing the good bacteria within the microbiome to compete for space and nutrients.

Flourish is developing Guided Biotic®  products to address key challenges in crop production, sustainably.
